CPR for DOGS

As most of our Instagram followers already know, we had an accidental emergency with one of our dogs. Unfortunately, we were not properly prepared, which may or may not have made the situation worse. Luckily, everyone survived; but the oxygen depravation lead to a seizure. This was an incredibly difficult lesson for a family with medical knowledge/training. The incident was tramatic for the entire family. My hope in sharing our story is so others will learn from our mistakes.

I would recommend this for everyone, it is only $25 and it is online, so it is easy to work around your schedule. Piece of mind is worth the investment for us dog parents; as proper application of CPR, Heimlich and First Aid is essential to save a life.

We learned that we had a lot to learn to be good dog parents. To take care of them, we needed to learn how to react appropriately in all events, including emergencies.
